| Breaking News | | Monday, July 31st, 2017: Sub League 1 Picks Top Performer
David Dall is respected by most Terra Mar Hoodlums fans for his no-frills style of play. The 23-year-old second baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Sub League 1 Player of the Week honors.
He compiled a .556 average (10-18) with no home runs, 5 RBIs and 5 runs scored.
Currently Dall is batting .323 with 4 home runs and 14 RBIs.

 | Monday, June 12th, 2017: Big Day for Green! Swats 5 Hits!
After the Bellefonte 13-1 victory over Terra Mar and his 5-hit day catcher Woodrow Green told SION beat writers, "It really doesn't matter whether it's sandlot ball, high school or college ball, two hits in a game is very good...three or four hits even better...5 or more are out of sight...and if it is in pro ball...it is really something special. It will get you in the record books."
The 23-year-old player gained that distinction today at Passion Stadium with a spectacular 5 for 5 game against the Terra Mar Hoodlums.
The skipper of the Passion spoke glowingly of Green, telling SION writers, "His swing is getting there. We want him to be quick with his swing, short and compact. We want him to be patient and go the other way when he can. Woodrow did that to perfection today."
W. Green singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off J. Unknown in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off J. Unknown in the 8th.
In 46 games this year Green has posted a .259 average and put up these numbers: 8 home runs, 35 RBIs and 26 runs scored.

Raul Rodriguez of the Birmingham Counts worked his mound magic on the Terra Mar Hoodlums. He blanked them 1-0 on 1 hit, registering 6 strikeouts and 2 walks.
"Making good pitches is the name of the game and I made some good ones in this one," said Rodriguez to SION scribes after the game.
