| Breaking News | | Saturday, September 23rd, 2017: Sub League 2 Crowns Lindenwold's Bailey
This season Patrick Bailey of Lindenwold was the #1 pitcher according to SION sportswriters and analysts.
His fine 16-5 won-lost mark and 2.16 had a big influence in the voting and the Lindenwold hurler was named the 2017 Sub League 2 Outstanding Pitcher Award winner.
In 171 innings of work and 23 starts, the Emissaries star struck out 155 while giving up 128 hits and 46 walks. He held opposing batters to a .206 average.
This weekend Bailey will be honored by the SION Baseball Writers Association at its annual awards dinner.

 | Sunday, September 10th, 2017: Bellefonte Passion Win Round 1
The 2017 IPL Double A season came to a close today at Passion Stadium, where the Bellefonte Passion whipped the Lindenwold Emissaries 8-1 and won their 1st Round 1 in history.
Bellefonte got there by compiling a 72-49 mark during regular season play and claiming the first spot in the Sub League 1 standings.
The Passion won the series 3-1 in games.

| Friday, September 1st, 2017: Lindenwold's Bailey - Chosen August's Best in SL2
There's no doubt that Emissaries starter Patrick Bailey earned his Sub League 2 Pitcher of the Month award. He left absolutely no room for doubt as he mowed his way through the opposition in August.
During the month Bailey was 6-1 with a 1.76 ERA. He made 7 starts, tossed 51 innings and had 47 strikeouts.
In 2017 Bailey has compiled a 16-5 mark with a 2.16 ERA in 23 starts.
